Edwin McCain
Edwin McCain serenades
audiences at The Barns at Wolf Trap with his Southern charm and
sentimental ballads. The platinum-selling Charleston native is both an
accomplished singer/songwriter and musical collaborator. Throughout
his career, McCain has released an impressive 10 albums and worked
with the famed Dixie Chicks and Art Garfunkel. His most frequent
alliance is with California singer/songwriter Maia Sharp, which can be
heard on his latest recording project Mercy Bound (2011), a series of
wistful love songs. Over the years, McCain's heartfelt hits have
continued to top the charts. In 1995 his album Misguided Roses landed
the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Heatseakers chart. The album included
his most celebrated single "I'll Be." The song placed No. 66 on VH1's
"100 Greatest Songs of the'90s" and won Dr. Phil's Best Wedding Song
in 2005.

Erick Baker
Alt-rocker Erick Baker introduces his earnest lyrics, raspy voice, and
serene sound in a debut performance at The Barns at Wolf Trap.
Discovered after college in a bar in Knoxville, Tennessee, Baker has
made great strides as a musician. His career took off when asked to
open for R&B sensation John Legend. Since then he has performed
alongside internationally renowned rock and country stars, including
James Blunt, Gavin DeGraw, Goo Goo Dolls, Grace Potter, Brandi
Carlisle, and Heart. These concerts build upon Baker's six sold-out
appearances at Knoxville's Bijou Theatre. Baker's signature Americana
style and introspective ballads can be heard on his 2008 extended play
It's Getting Too Late To Say It's Early, his 2010 album Holding the
Pieces in Place, and his 2012 recording project Goodbye June. Baker
also released the live recording Erick Baker: Live at Bijou Theatre
and the DVD Stay Awhile in 2010.
