The Tony Award®-winning Signature Theatre continues the celebration of its 20th anniversary season with a series of cabaret evenings November 17 - 22 spotlighting the exciting Helen Hayes Award-winning actress/singer Natascia Diaz and the acclaimEd Scottish singer Euan Morton, whose performances have been called "sensational" by The New York Times. Transforming its smaller performance space into an intimate club complete with small tables and candlelight, Signature invites patrons to bring the outstanding wine, mixed drinks, and light fare from its highly praised Ali's Bar into the theater to enjoy during the performance.

For the cabaret performances dubbed "Signature Sings," Diaz and Morton will perform select songs from Sondheim's A Little Night Music, Passion, Sunday in the Park With George; Kander & Ebb's Cabaret, The Rink, Over and Over; Rodgers & Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing; Webber & Black's Tell Me on a Sunday; Schwartz and Faso's Working; Dempsey & Rowe's The Fix; and Michael John LaChiusa's First Lady Suite. For Signature's 20th anniversary, this season's cabaret shows are a year-long "best of" salute to the many musicals performed by the company; the November offerings are all from Signature's 1995-1999 seasons.

TICKETS & SCHEDULE
Tickets are $33 per person and available by calling Ticketmaster at (703) 573-SEAT (7328) or visiting www.signature-theatre.org. Cabaret show times are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 8:30 pm, Friday at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, Saturday at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm.

BIOS
Star of Signature's acclaimed Kiss of the Spider Woman, recent recipient of a Helen Hayes Award for Rooms at MetroStage, and current performer in Barrio Grrrl! at the Kennedy Center Family Theatre, Natascia Diaz enjoys a steadily growing career on and Off-Broadway, regionally, and on TV in an eclectic mix of parts and shows. Recognized by Chicago's prestigious Joseph Jefferson Award and by the 2006 Kevin Klein Award for the role of Anita in West Side Story, she danced the role with the New York City Ballet for their ‘West Side Story Suite' helmed by Jerome Robbins, then performed the role in the national touring production of West Side Story.

Diaz's Broadway credits include Man of La Mancha, The Capeman, and Seussical!. Off-Broadway, she performed in The Little Prince, Bright Lights, Big City, in the world premiere of Stephen Sondheim's first musical Saturday Night at Second Stage, Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris, and in Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...Boom!. Regional credits include Pippin at the Papermill Playhouse, A Little Night Music at the Kennedy Center, Elektra in Agamemnon and His Daughters at Arena Stage, and Hail, Mary! at Studio Arena. Television credits include "Nurse Jackie," "Law and Order SVU" and "Law and Order CSI," "The Jury," "Damages," the HBO family channel movie "Leonardo Da Vinci; A Dream in Flight," and in "Oz," the voice of Miss Chiquita Banana. Film credits include independent films "Tiny Dancer" and "How to Seduce Difficult Women." Diaz is also featured in the documentary film Every Little Step in her audition process for Cassie for the revival of A Chorus Line.

Scottish Euan Morton received an Olivier Award nomination for originating the role of Boy George in the musical Taboo. He moved to New York in 2003 to reprise the role on Broadway, earning Tony®, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Drama League Award nominations, as well as the Theatre World Award (for Outstanding Broadway Debut). He earned a 2006 Obie Award for his appearance in Measure For Pleasure at The Public Theatre. His other stage appearances include title roles in Tony Kushner's adaptation of Brundibár at the New Victory Theatre and Berkeley Rep; The Who's Tommy at the Bay Street Theatre; and Caligula for the inaugural season of the New York Musical Theatre Festival (2004 NYMF Award for Outstanding Individual Performance). Off-Broadway, Morton appeared opposite Alfred Molina in Howard Katz at the Roundabout Theatre. Most recently Morton was seen on Broadway in the 2007 revival of Cyrano De Bergerac and off-Broadway in the 2009 American premiere of Leaves of Glass. On film, Morton can be seen in the documentary Showbusiness: The Road to Broadway which follows the history of a Broadway season. Morton has recently released his debut solo CD, NewClear, and has appeared in concert in New York City at the Oak Room at the Algonquin, Town Hall, the Metropolitan Room, the Zipper, Joe's Pub and Birdland, as well as at Signature.
