John Prine

his country and folk roots through the poetry in his compositions.
Commonly referred to as a “songwriter’s songwriter,” Prine is vastly
admired in the music industry for his eloquent writing and inspiring
lyrics. Some of the prominent artists that have recorded his songs
include Johnny Cash, Bonnie Raitt, The Everly Brothers, Kris
Kristofferson, and Carly Simon, among others.

mentor and country icon Gram Parsons, a vital influence in her
development as an artist. Harris’s first solo debut, Pieces of the Sky
(1975), is a collection of covers that brought her five hit singles in
the country music charts. She also has collaborated with numerous
well-known artists including Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Rodney Crowell,
